Mhairi Theresa is a Glasgow-based mixed media artist, illustrator, and photographer whose practice spans both digital and print media.
With a background in design and illustration, she has created artwork for musicians, authors, exhibitions, events, and video games, developing a versatile visual language that adapts across disciplines.
Her creative practices are deeply interconnected, incorporating only her own photography into her collage and illustration, and gathering useful imagery and textures with her camera, encouraging each process to feed the other.
Drawing inspiration from music, literature, and poetry, Mhairi frequently explores the relationship between image and narrative, translating personal responses to songs, environments, poems, and books into evocative visual work.
Driven by curiosity and experimentation, Mhairi is always expanding her creative toolkit and has recently begun exploring animation as a new dimension of her practice.
